Papillon:
A papillon is mostly spirited and happy and always in the mood for new discoveries and adventures. the papillon is a funny dog that suits almost anyone, wonderful child- and familydogs, quick, with great stamina and they are clever agilitydogs, tough and durable in woods and stable. The size is perfect! Not too small that you lose it :) and not too big so that you can't take it with you. A papillon fits in any car you drive and it loves to come with you.
Appearance:
I think that a papillon should have a high tailposition, a lot of fur out of good quality, correct, nice angles that gives the dog good proportions, showy, light and hovering steps. A grand posture, a lot of fringes on its beutiful big ears that gives the papillon its beautiful butterfly appearance, is also important to me. The nose shall not be too long nor too pointed, the eyes middlesized and dark and a round skull. the weight skall be between 5,2 and 7,4 lb.
Temper and Psyche:
In my breeding I am trying to engender strong, self-secure, stabile dogs.
My engendering:
It is all about trying to find a good balance between the different individuals, to preserve the best properties every single dog own and try to pass it forward to the next generation.
If I for exaample should engender a bitch with a little to much energy, I breed her with a calm and harmonic male. The same is with the dogs appearance and skeleton-structure. A thin dog I breed with a dog that is a little bit buffer.
Of course I always engender on healty dogs. The ones that is to be engendered is closely examined by a vet every year.
